Good farming advice should never be one more cost for the people who feed India. Here is how anyone — a well-wisher, the diaspora, or a company’s CSR — can sponsor the AI that answers a farmer’s questions, and exactly where every rupee goes.

Advice should never be the farmer's burden

A farmer already carries enough — an erratic monsoon, volatile mandi prices, the cost of seed and fertilizer, and often debt. The last thing they need is a paywall on good advice.

Khetigpt is free for farmers, in their own language, on WhatsApp — crop care, weather, mandi prices, government schemes, even reading a soil-health card. But every answer the AI gives has a small, real cost behind it. Rather than ever charge the farmer, we built the **Token Bank**.

What the Token Bank is

The idea is simple: anyone can sponsor the AI "tokens" that power free answers for farmers. You don't adopt anyone or fill long forms — you simply fund questions.

Sponsor **₹10 and you fund roughly 100 questions** — about a whole season of help for one farmer. ₹500 can cover an entire village through a season. It is the most direct way to help the people who grow our food: you pay for knowledge, and a farmer gets it free, exactly when a pest or a price decision can't wait.

Where every rupee goes

We believe a "keep it free" promise only means something if it is transparent. So the maths is open:

  • We keep a small, clearly-stated **15%** to run the service — payment fees, servers, support.
  • The remaining **85% funds farmer questions**, tracked on a **live public ledger** — rupees sponsored, questions funded, and the share of all advice that sponsors are covering.
  • Roughly: ₹10 → ~100 questions, ₹100 → ~1,000 questions (about ten farmers), ₹500 → a village for a season.

You get a proper receipt for every payment, and you can pay in seconds by UPI, GPay or PhonePe — your card or UPI details never touch our servers.

Honest about who we are

Khetigpt is built by a company, not a charity — and we are upfront about that. But farmers never pay, and never will. We earn from the businesses that want to reach and understand farmers; never from the farmer.

One rule is absolute: a sponsor can be thanked and recognised, but a sponsor can **never** influence the advice a farmer receives. That neutrality is the whole point — trust is everything in farming. And any forecast or price outlook we give is an estimate; the decision, and its rewards, always belong to the farmer.

Be the one who keeps it free

Whether you are a city professional who grew up on a farm, an NRI who wants to give back home, an FPO, or a company with CSR funds to deploy — you can fund the people who feed India.

Sponsor a farmer at **khetigpt.com/sponsor**. Ten rupees is a season of answers for someone who needs them.
